Wake-Up Sleep-Over Overview

Wake Up Sleep Over is a four-day Spring Break immersion where college students camp at host churches and group campgrounds and spend their days activating real solutions in Central Florida communities.

This is an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Do-A-Thon designed to:

• Strengthen neighborhoods

• Support local initiatives

• Build civic leadership

• Launch real project plans and pilots 

• Deepen faith through action

What We’ll Be Doing?

Using real health and housing data, we identify high-need ZIP codes across:

Orange County

Osceola County

Seminole County

Lake County

 

Volunteers will:

 

✔ Conduct community asset mapping

 

✔ Review local health indicators

 

✔ Meet with community leaders

 

✔ Develop 3 actionable project plans

 

✔ Present solutions to local partners
